Reed art workshop at Children’s Museum
Rockland — Local artist Sue Reed will lead an all-ages workshop where museumgoers can make fun masks and crowns, tiaras and beads, just in time for Halloween, at the Coastal Children’s Museum at Sharp’s Point South. The workshop, included in museum admission, is set for Saturday, Oct. 26, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Reed’s previous workshops at the museum have created art that hangs in the Arty Party Space where the workshop will take place. Reed is a graduate of the University of Missouri, with a master of fine arts degree in printmaking/drawing. She has worked as an independent artist for more than 20 years. In August, she was Camden Public Library’s artist of the month. A gallery of her work can be seen at sueannreed.com.
The workshop free for museum members. Space is limited; to sign up, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 596-0300.
