RDC showcase visits ‘Snow Queen’

May 12, 2014

Camden — Rockport Dance Conservatory will present its seventh annual spring showcase — "Snow Queen" featuring tales of Hans Christian Anderson and other original choreography — Friday and Saturday, May 23 and 24, at the Camden Opera House, Elm Street/Route 1.

Students have been working hard this year to present another spring showcase full of the creative performances RDC is known for. Some of the stories featured this year include “Inchworm,” “Ugly Duckling,” “The Little Mermaid” and, of course, “The Snow Queen.”

Tickets in advance are $15, $10 for students and senior citizens; and will be $17/$12 at the door. Admission is free for children younger than 5. Advance tickets are available at Rockport Dance Conservatory (at Midcoast Recreation Center) and HAV II in Camden. For more information, email info@rockportdance.com or check out the school’s Facebook page.
