'RawFaith' screened on North Haven
North Haven — The Maine feature documentary “RawFaith” will be screened Thursday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at Waterman’s Community Center, Main Street. The film premiered at the Maine International Film Festival in July and recently received Best Feature Film at the Newburyport Documentary Film Festival.
At the intersection of personal passion, family and commitment, the story of RawFaith is spun from the deck of this homebuilt 88-foot galleon replica. What began as a family-focused project ultimately tests family unity and their individual notions of commitment and obligation. A project 10 years in the making, the film depicts the final stages of ship construction in Addison and its launch on the banks of the Pleasant River in 2003; and follows its journeys from Rockland to Boston Harbor and its demise in 2010.
