St. George — The Puzzle of Motivation is the subject of the Brown Bag Lunch Friday, March 8, at noon at Jackson Memorial Library.

The hour-long program will begin with a lively TED video talk by Dan Pink, author of "Drive: The surprising truth about what motivates us."

After viewing the 19 minute video Port Clyde resident and entrepreneur Rob Kelley will lead a discussion of the implications of Pink’s central idea that there is a mismatch between what social science tells us and what business does. These keys to motivation have broad application for parents, teachers, bosses, employees.
