The Coastal Senior College events committee will present a program by University of Hawaii Professor of Political Science and Women’s Studies Kathy Ferguson on the famous feminist leader and anarchist Emma Goldman. At Rockland’s First Universalist Church. Goldman is the most famous anarchist feminist leader of the late 19th to early 20th centuries. Struggles to legalize birth control, reform education, unionize workplaces, protect free speech, create alternative communities, and end war were all political concerns of hers.
