Prey donates print proceeds
Port Clyde — Longtime seasonal resident and gifted watercolorist Barbara Ernst Prey, whose annual art exhibition runs through August at Blue Water Fine Arts in the village, is donating proceeds of two of her prints to nonprofit organizations.
Prey will donate proceeds from sales of “Two Ladies” prints in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Georges River Land Trust, whose mission is to conserve the ecosystems and traditional heritage of the Georges River watershed region through permanent land protection, stewardship, education and outdoor experiences. She will donate proceeds form sale of “Tandem” prints — the original is in the collection of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson — to the Wounded Warrior Project, whose mission is to aid and assist wounded service members as they return home from combat.
Gallery hours are daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment. For more information, call 372-8087 or visit barbaraprey.com.
