Presentation on U.S. Constitution set for June 9

Waldoboro — The National Library for Health and Healing, 181 Jefferson St., hosts the Constitutionalists of Maine Organization June 9 at noon.

The group will present Harold Shurtleff with a talk titled, "Know your Constitution." He will review pertinent parts of the U.S. Constitution, challenge attendees to become constitutional activists and to be vigilant in ensuring that elected officials honor their oaths of office in line with the founding principles nation.

Shurtleff is the co-founder and director of Camp Constitution in Rindge, N.H., and a former employee of the John Birch Society. He also operates a radio show, delivers addresses to groups large and small, publishes books and other material, hosts a blog, and manages a YouTube channel and several social media outlets.

Lunch will be provided by the Waldoboro chapter of Maine Moms United. The program is open to both adults and students.
