Rockport — Local dance company Kinetic Energy Alive and its director Kea Tesseyman will host a creative and informational meeting about their upcoming show Thursday, Dec. 12, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the lecture hall of Camden Hills Regional High School, Route 90. "Power Performance: Legacy Rising" will be presented in April.

The community is invited to be a part of this movement with a message production. Anyone who shares the goal of creating a better tomorrow for our youth, schools and communities is encouraged to attend. The meeting is open to dancers, non-dancers, people interested in theater, people interested in making a difference and people with personal experience or thoughts related to bullying and/or addiction.

This open community meeting will be to discuss and brainstorm the best ways possible to bring awareness to the effects bullying and addiction has on our youth and communities.  All ideas and thoughts are welcome to an integrated collaboration to create the best and most effective way to bring this awareness to the stage through choreography, music development and acting. Tesseyman will weave all pertinent ideas together to create a theatrical dance presentation, utilizing all dancers and volunteers to create a must see show with a powerful message.

The meeting’s schedule has creative brainstorming from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.; and logistics and fundraising from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The goal is to incorporate all people interested in this important mission, to raise awareness of the very real effects of bullying and addiction and to, as one, create a uniting solution that can heal many.

Anyone with thoughts on these subjects, has always wanted to be a part of a dance show, has theatrical background or wants to be "hands-on-deck" and volunteer is welcomed and encouraged to taker part. For more information, contact Tesseyman at kineticenergyalive@gmail.com or 975-4450.
