A free public event in Rockland will feature samples from shrimp cookbook, door prizes, and drawings.

On Saturday, September 22, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Island Institute building, 386 Main Street in Rockland, Port Clyde Fresh Catch staff will welcome customers, friends and the general public to celebrate the company’s fifth year of connecting local fishermen with consumers through Port Clyde Fresh Catch seafood.  This free event will feature live music by guitar duo Scott Sell and Tom Ulichny, door prizes including wheels of Cabot cheese, a drawing for some of PCFC’s wild-caught seafood products, and samples from The Original Maine Shrimp Cookbook. Cookbook author Diane Schetky will also be on hand to sign copies of the most extensive collection of Maine shrimp recipes ever published – now in its second printing. This event is supported by Cabot Creamery Cooperative and the Island Institute.
