Planning grant submissions approved
Camden — Two grant application submissions were approved by the Camden Select Board Sept. 18. Both planning grants were presented by Economic Development Director Brian Hodges.
The first grant is intended to continue research regarding a potential Harbor Walk, he said, from Shirttail Point to the public landing. The second grant would provide funding for a study to determine the best uses of the public landing, Hodges said.
The town's share of each grant is $5,000, which would come from the sidewalks and pathways reserve fund and the economic development reserve fund, according to Hodges.
Camden should be notified by mid-October if it is chosen to receive the planning grant funding.
