Physical therapist to address MS awareness group
Rockland — The April meeting of Keep S’myelin will be held Thursday, April 3, 11:30 a.m. at Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care and Hospice at 170 Pleasant St.
An awareness group for those with multiple sclerosis, their caregivers, and friends, Keep S’myelin is affiliated with the Greater New England Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Nicole Glidden, a physical therapist from Pen Bay Medical Center, will be this month’s featured speaker. Glidden will cover several topics including keeping physically healthy with MS and recovering from relapses associated with MS. In addition, she will offer an update on the physical rehabilitation and MS initiative currently under way through the MS clinic at Pen Bay Neurology.
