Pet calendars now available, proceeds benefit shelter
After spending almost four years to the day at the shelter, and earning the title of longest resident, we are thrilled to share that cat Cricket, at long last has found her happily ever after with a wonderful family she can call her own. Now, the title of longest resident is passed to Molly, a beautiful, shy, black and white cat that was brought to the shelter in July 2010 as a wee little kitten. Her leg was injured from being hit by a car, she was very thin and had obviously been trying to survive on her own. She had a very rough start but once she received medical care, proper nutrition and some good ole tender loving care, she turned the corner and started to thrive. Sadly, her demure personality has kept her at the shelter far too long. Although not really outgoing in the hectic life of the shelter, she likes attention, she just isn't pushy about getting it. She loves the outdoors and takes full advantage of our new outdoor cat enclosure. If you are looking for a loyal companion and willing to meet her on her own terms, then please consider adopting Molly. She'd be happy to relinquish her new title of longest resident.
