Rockland — A deceased person found adrift in a boat in Rockland Harbor Wednesday night, June 27 appears to have died of natural causes, according to Rockland Police Department Deputy Chief Wallace Tower.

He said the body was reported to him by the U.S. Coast Guard at 7:54 p.m. June 27.

Police are not releasing the identity of the person because the matter is under investigation, Tower said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
