The Penobscot Bay YMCA is pleased to announce that a collaboration with Jessica Day, director of Midcoast Music Together to offer the internationally known Music Together program as part of the Y’s Childcare preschool curriculum. 

Music Together will enrich the lives of the children served through music and movement, as well as aligning with the NAEYC accreditation standards. This musically rich, research based and developmentally appropriate approach to music education not only supports all learning but involves families and teachers in an interactive way, allowing children to be part of a community.

It is the Y’s Childcare Program goal to introduce music into all the classrooms and are excited to do this with the help and guidance of Jessica Day.
