Pen Bay Healthcare Victorian Tea and Breast Health Fair Oct. 25
Rockport — On Thursday, Oct. 25 from 3 to 7 p.m., the 9th annual Victorian Tea and Breast Health Fair will be held at the Berry Manor Inn on 81 Talbot Ave. in Rockland. The event is sponsored by Pen Bay Healthcare's Picker Family Resource Center. No reservations are required.
This women’s wellness event is a way to learn more about health and well being from experts. A traditional Victorian Tea, tasty sandwiches and desserts will be served and visitors can enjoy a tour of the inn.
This year's fair features breast health educators as well as a wide variety of ideas and services that encourage and support well-being, stress reduction, lymphedema prevention and management, healthy eating and physical activity, weight management for youth and more.
Guests may schedule a mini-session for reflexology, Reiki, acupuncture, Bowen Therapy, Jin Shin Jyutsu or chair yoga. A variety of workshops including reducing one's risk for breast cancer recurrence, creating healthy smoothies and bra fitting will be available throughout the afternoon. Come and enjoy the individual pampering and wealth of helpful and educational information that is being offered. The wearing of tea hats is encouraged.
Guests should park around the corner from the inn at the Lincoln Street Center and McClain School (24 and 26 Lincoln St.). Shuttle service will be available between the Lincoln Street Center parking lot and the inn.
