PAWS: We appreciate your kindness
A big thank you to the Midcoast Brass Quintet for a lovely night of music and to everyone who was there to hear it. Occasions like this are such a great way for people to support PAWS and all the animals we take care of.
Have you seen our new website yet? Go right now and visit pawsadoption.org. We think it’s terrific: full of information about PAWS events, our fabulous adoptable animals and the many, many ways you can volunteer. Take a look and let us know what you think. We’re interested in anything we can do to make it even better!
Mandy and Natilda are finally old enough to leave their nest in the shelter bathroom and play with the big kittens. Mandy is simply a darling little peanut who was brought to the shelter when she was just days old. One of our staff bottle-fed her and she quickly became a favorite of everyone. We decided she needed a friend and Natilda got the job. Natilda also came to the shelter as a little kitten who had spent some time with a foster mom. As you can see from the picture, these two had a high old time playing with a roll of toilet paper one day. Please stop by the shelter and visit them in the kitten room. We know you’ll fall in love with them just as we did.
Looking for a sweet, affectionate, quiet, gentle cat? Her name is Alexis. This beautiful chiaroscuro lovely isn’t sure why she is here and she’d feel better if she was in a home. She thinks there are way too many cats in her room, so she often keeps to herself and you have to look for her to find her. We believe Alexis would thrive in a nice quiet home where she could relax and be her loving self.
Stopping at the grocery store? Silly question: Of course you are! Why not pick up a couple of rolls of paper towels for the shelter? Any donation, big or small, is always welcomed and appreciated. We can always use the following items: trash bags, laundry soap, dish soap, bleach, paper plates, postage stamps or even gift cards to Hannaford, WalMart, Home Depot, Staples, EBS and Loyal Biscuit, just to name a few. We count very much on your kindness, for which we are very grateful and without which we would have a much harder time giving our little people the loving care they deserve. Thank you.
Please stop in and see us and all our lovelies at 146 Camden St. in Rockport. We’re open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and pawsadoption.org is never closed! And thank you, as always, for your caring and support.
