Paul Sebastian Giansiracusa V
Rockland — Paul Sebastian "Sebastian" Giansiracusa V, precious baby of Christie Ranquist Robbins and Paul S. Giansiracusa IV, died unexpectedly, Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport.
Sebastian was born Aug. 13, 2007, in Rockport where he was welcomed by his parents and two brothers, Austin and Eli Ranquist.
Sebastian was a lovable, outgoing little boy who enjoyed playing with trains, cars, and loved everything "Toy Story." His grandmother said he was fascinated with the moon and stars. He loved water play and greatly enjoyed playing outside, which he often did with his cousins Lily, Autumn, Madison and Keenan. He also had a great love of animals especially his Nannie's dogs, Lilly and Bouy, and the cats at Grandma's house, Kitten and Gizmo.
Sebastian is loved and remembered by his parents and his brothers, all of Rockland; his paternal grandfather, Paul Giansiracusa III, and his wife, Donna, of Oldsmar, Fla.; his paternal grandmother, Rhonda "Grama" Giansiracusa, of Warren; his paternal great-grandfather, Clarence Perry, of Rockport; his maternal grandparents, Linda "Nannie" and Paul "Papa" Shanley, of Owls Head; his aunts Stacy "Auntie" Giansiracusa, Amy "Auntie" Giansiracusa, both of Warren, and Tabitha Robbins of Union; his uncles, Matthew Giansiracusa and Derrek Giansiracusa, both of Oldsmar, Fla., Eugene Fowler of Warren, and Larry York of Union; his many cousins, including a special cousin, Santana Robbins, of Owls Head; as well as many great aunts and great uncles.
A Celebration of Love will be held Friday, Aug. 6 at 11 a.m. at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St. in Rockland. A reception will follow at 104 Limerock St., the funeral home's reception facility.
