Parkinson's group to hold anniversary party
Camden — Forgoing their usual meeting format, members of the area’s Parkinson’s Support Group will throw a party in celebration of the group’s ninth anniversary Tuesday, Sept. 3, from noon to 1:45 p.m. on the first floor of the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill in Camden.
After cake and conversation, participants living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers will divide into mixed groups for an opportunity to share their perspectives and learn from each other’s experiences.
Support group meetings take place regularly on the first Tuesday of each month. Meetings are free and offer learning and fellowship to all those living with Parkinson’s disease as well as their loved ones and caregivers. Attendees are encouraged to bring bag lunches. Quarry Hill provides beverages and desserts.
