Outdoor jazz at Sharp’s Point South

Rockland — Sail, Power and Steam Museum at Sharp’s Point South will host the Breakers Jazz Band in a free concert under the big tent Sunday, July 6, at 3 p.m. Picnics are encouraged for the free, old-fashioned concert. Donations are appreciated.

Breakers Jazz is a Rockland-based little big band presenting the magic and excitement of America’s most original music art form. Under the direction of Marlene Hall, the group is comprised of highly energetic musicians who have a passion to make great music. Breakers Jazz performs a variety of big band and jazz literature from the classic big band era to contemporary jazz.
