Thinking Boat Storage?

By Route 90 Business Association | Aug 23, 2013

One may think of full service marine supply and boat sales and services companies as exclusively located on our waterfronts.  Not so, says the Route Ninety Business Association, a group that supports local businesses along their ten mile stretch of highway in mid-coast Maine.

Port Harbor Marine in Rockport is conveniently located on Route 90 only minutes away from the Camden, Rockport and Rockland Harbors. It is also only three miles from beautiful Megunticook Lake in Camden.

The facility in Rockport offers a large showroom for boat display and boating accessories as well as a fully stocked parts department plus outside winter storage for 150 boats ranging to 35 feet and their service team of four factory trained technicians can handle any boating repair

Go inland just a few miles further west to the Rockland section of Route #90 and one finds, Johanson Boatworks who is a full service yacht yard offering new construction and restoration services. They specialize in installing new teak decks, J-Boat repairs and engine installations & rebuilds and are an authorized Beta Marine Engine Dealer.

In addition, Johanson Boatworks also offers a variety of fine vessels for bareboat Maine yacht charters which we store and maintain.  The fleet is based in Rockland Harbor, at the heart of Mid-coast Maine's spectacular cruising ground Penobscot Bay and consists of sailboats and motor yachts.

The Route #90 Business Association was founded in 1994 to promote businesses located outside the city centers on Route #90 where parking, fair pricing and old time service is all part of the package.
