Waldoboro — The third annual Dustin J. Osier Memorial Alumni Basketball games tipped off at Medomak Valley High School Saturday, Dec. 28 with more than 30 alumni/alumnae taking the court to honor a former classmate and to relive their high school hoop pasts.

The games were in honor of Osier, a MVHS three-sport student-athlete, who died in an automobile accident on Aug. 19, 2011.

Three games were played Saturday: A women's game, a men's game and an “oldies” game for older Panther alumni. The older Panther alumni faced off against a collection of players from the previous boys game.
