Rockport — The Camden Hills ice hockey team has had another stellar season, led by senior Jack Orne, who was named one of four Western Class B players of the month for January.

Orne, a veteran forward with a strong, quick shot and excellent playmaking skills, scored 10 goals and added six assists that month, while playing on a high-scoring line with teammates Grayson Szumilas and Simon Lydon.

Orne notched at least one point in each of those games, including a 3-goal, 2-assist performance in a 7-6 overtime win against Cape Elizabeth, along with netting both goals in a 2-0 victory over Hampden Academy and a 1-goal, 1-assist effort in a 4-2 win over John Bapst of Bangor.

Yarmouth's Max Watson was the top defenseman for the month, while Kevin Hare of Cape Elizabeth was the region's top goalie in January. Galen Arnold of Greely, a freshman defenseman, was the rookie of the month.

The Windjammers are 10-3-1 and third in the region this season.
