Camden — Noon Music in Lent, a free program of music followed by a simple lunch of soup and bread, continues its seventh year Friday, March 14, at noon at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 33 Chestnut St.

The second program in this year’s series will feature Jane Schroeder on organ. Schroeder has been Minister of Music at St. Thomas since 2007. She will play works a choral prelude and a fantasia by J.S. Bach, a chaconne by Johann Pachelbel and the Third Sonata (based on an old German folksong) by Paul Hindemith.

The series’ musicians donate their time and have designated the free-will offering go to Episcopal Relief and Development. Each program will open with a short noonday prayer.

The downtown church has a handicapped-accessible entrance with adjacent parking around the corner on Wood Street. For more information, contact Schroeder at 236-3680 or janeschroeder@roadrunner.com.
