Online Poll: Raises for City Council

May 18, 2017

Rockland — This week we are asking,

"Do you support increases in pay for city councilors?"

The Rockland City Council may ask voters to approve the first pay raise for councilors in 37 years, increasing to $3,000 per year for councilors and $3,500 for the mayor. The current pay is $800 for councilors and $1,000 for the mayor, as set in 1980. What do you think?

See attached chart for results from last week's On The Line poll.
