Lincolnville — A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a crash on Route 52 the afternoon of July 10.

According to Maine State Police Trooper Thomas Bureau, the driver of the motorcycle was driving north. The driver of a Subaru Forester was pulling out of a driveway and heading south at the time of the crash, he said, though the chain of events leading up to the crash was not immediately known.

The male motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and was able to get himself out of the roadside ditch where he landed after the impact. The female driver of the Subaru was not injured. Names of those involved were not immediately available.
