On The Line poll asks for City Council approval rating; see results from last week
In this week's On The Line poll, we are asking:
"Do you approve of the job the Rockland City Council is doing?"
The Rockland City Council has had a full plate so far this summer, approving the budget for the next year and approving increases in the fees for dumping trash at the transfer station (see related stories). In addition, it has been announced the property tax rate is going up to $20.16, due largely to state cuts in aid to schools and the city's drop in valuation.
What do you think?
See our chart below the survey for the results from last week's On The Line poll, asking whether you support a helmet law for motorcyclists. Responders were split down the middle on that issue.
Our latest On The Line poll is always available at Knox.villagesoup.com in the upper left corner of the homepage by clicking On The Line. Results are published each week in The Courier-Gazette.
