On Sunday, October 21, approximately 30 people gathered at Hatchet Mountain Publick House in Hope, Maine to listen to Jo-Ann Wilson share her experiences as a licensed equine massage therapist traveling with the Canadian Equestrian Team to the 2012 Olympics in London, England.

Wilson, a world-renowned clinician, author, teacher, researcher and nationally certified and licensed massage therapist for both humans and horses was also involved with the 2010 World Equestrian Games Canadian Eventing team who won the silver medal and worked with the United States Equestrian team in the 2003 Pan Am Games and the 2000 Olympics in Sydney Australia.

Her hour-long presentation covered everything from how the horses and riders arrived in London, to the preparations that went into the grounds and events, to the rules and protocols of traveling throughout the Olympic grounds as a participant.  A suggested admission of $10 per person was donated to the P.A.W.S. Animal Adoption Center in Rockport.
