The Mussel Ridge Historical Society will host its annual Owl’s Head Community Pot Luck Picnic at the Old Homestead at 453 Ash Point Drive in Owls Head. Free although donations gratefully accepted. Bean-hole beans by Maynard Stanley, cooked the old fashioned way popular at picnics years ago, in a hole in the ground. Attendees are asked to bring a hearty salad, casserole, side dish, appetizer or dessert to share. The MRHS will provide hot dogs, drinks and ice cream cranked at the picnic.
