In 2010 a new shop, Fiore Artisan Olive Oils and Vinegars, opened on lower Main Street in Rockland. Soon everyone was talking about it and a bottle of their olive oil or vinegar became the new, hot hostess gift. Since that time the customer base has grown by leaps and bounds.
Now, both loyal customers and new can hear the story behind the products. Owners Nancy and Pat O’Brien will welcome you to their shop after hours and relate the story behind the making of these oils and vinegars.
For this presentation, Fiore has selected extra virgin olive oils directly from the recent southern hemisphere harvest. Featured will be extra virgin olive oils from small regional estates in Chile, Argentina and Australia. Guests will learn of the regions and the growers while sampling the freshest ultra premium olive oils available during this season. Samples of tidbits made with the products will be served with wine from a local winery. During the event, guests will receive a discount on all products purchased.
Georges River Land Trust is committed to helping the 14 local communities along the St. George River to Discover the river and care for the land.
