All three Midcoast high school golf teams have been in action on the links in recent days, with Oceanside, Camden Hills and Medomak Valley swinging for midseason victories.
In Sept. 17 action, the Mariners and Windjammers defended their home courses, with Oceanside earning an 8-1 win over Erskine Academy of South China, while Camden Hills defeated the Medomak Valley 9-0.

Camden Hills 9, Medomak Valley 0
At the Samoset Resort in Rockport Sept. 17, the Windjammers (6-1) blanked the visiting Panthers to earn their sixth win in seven games. Camden Hills won the match with a four-golfer, nine-hole stroke total of 175 to 220.
Windjammer Drew Long shot 41 to earn medalist honors.
The individual results, with 'Jammers listed first, were: Daulton Wickenden (42) beat Adam Wilcox (55); Drew Holt (45) beat Tyler Emerson (58); Long (41) beat Aaron Smeltzer (49); Eddie Socker (47) beat Alex Benner (62); Teddy Laurita (57) beat J.P. Lobley (58); and Quinn Holt (59) won by forfeit.
Camden Hills' Jack Orne shot 55 and Austin Pohlman 64 in junior varsity action.
Oceanside 8, Erskine Academy 1
At the Rockland Golf Club Sept. 17, the Mariners (6-2) ended their two-game losing streak with a decisive win over the Eagles. Oceanside bested Erskine Academy with a four-golfer, nine-hole stroke total of 166 to 180.
Mariner Nick Mazurek shot 33 as the medalist.
The individual results, with Mariners listed first, were: Mazurek (33) beat Shawn Soucie (41), 5-3; Reilly Flanagan (41) beat Ashley Chubbuck (46), 3-2; Jordan Carter (46) beat Josh Bailey (50), 4-2; Zach Bernard (58) lost to Luke Atchinson (45), 5-3; J.T. Tobin (46) beat Jesse Stacey (48), 1-up; and Zeke Hamlin (48) beat Trevor Brown (50), 2-1.
