Topsham — More than 300 Midcoast students were chosen to sing or play together under the direction of master musicians from across New England at the annual Maine Music Educator's Association’s District III High School Honors Festival.

The effort culminated in a public performance Jan. 26 at the Orion Performing Arts Center of Mt. Ararat Middle School. Oceanside High School students who participated are Curren Grant, Emilee Cross, Rachel Johnson, Josh Tung, Laken Fournier, Krissy McNichol, Aaron Clarke and Megan Rickard.
