No injuries reported from rear-end collision in Thomaston
Thomaston — A rear-end collision in the late afternoon of Wednesday, Aug. 8 in Thomaston did not result in injuries.
Travis Ventimiglia, 24, of Rockland was traveling north on Route 1 in Thomaston when he reportedly fell asleep and collided with a 2012 Toyota Camry, driven by Kelly Littlehale, 37, of Owls Head, according to the Thomaston Police Department.
The accident occurred at 4:41 p.m. at the intersection of Route 1 and High Street, where Littlehale was stopped at the intersection.
The 2001 Subaru Legacy driven by Ventimiglia was totaled. The damage sustained by the Camry was estimated at $4,000.
Ventimiglia was cited for operating after suspension. His license had been suspended for failure to pay fines.
The Thomaston Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene.
