New Year's Eve day at the Rockport Public Library

The Rockport Public Library is offering a great way to enjoy the day on December 31st. Music, workshops and games will be part of the Monday fun. 10-11:30 Ukulele Workshop and performance with Alice Limoges
Singer/songwriter Alice Limoges welcomes parents and children to learn the fun of playing the ukulele and shows parents some ways to help kids get interested in music. Bring a ukulele, or just come and listen and enjoy the fun.
1-3:00 Board Games!
The library will have tables set up for board game fun. We have games like Yahtzee, Bug-opoly, Sorry, Chess, Scrabble and Maine Monopoly. Learn a new game or play one of your favorites. Start a rousing game of Scrabble! Choose a game from the library’s collection or bring a game from home to share.
3:00-4:00 Music with Resa
Folk singer and songwriter, Resa Randolph and family will provide an intimate performance at the library. Resa’s style of music ranges from bluegrass, traditional folk, jazz and blues.
4:00-5:30 Guitar Workshop with Martin Gibson
Guitarist, teacher and performer, Martin Gibson is offering a demonstration workshop and performance covering a variety of guitar styles.
All events are free; however, those interested in a workshop are asked to register in advance by calling or emailing the library. There is no limit to the number of workshops you may participate in.
