New folks move in from New Mexico!
Meet Barbara Bennett and Kathleen Wright, the latest folks to make Mountain Side their new year round home.
Although Barbara has spent many a winter in downeast Maine, this will be Kathleen's first experience with Nor'easters.
They have been busy unpacking, and settling in with the rest of the family (three cats and a miniature dachshund named Peanut).
Next summer, you might catch Kathleen tooling around town on her cool trike scooter. Since it's arrival in the moving van, the trike has received a fair amount of admiration and questions.
Although they arrived only six weeks ago, they have begun to find their way about town.
Mountain Side is a 55+ community located 1.5 miles outside of the village of Camden on Mountain Street. It is a small, unique and beautiful leased lot community tucked in at the foot of Mt. Megunticook. FMI: 207.596.5688
Welcome to the Midcoast! It's a harsh time to be moving to Maine, but the good thing is that the ticks, mosquitoes, and blackflies are months away! I visited NM a few years ago, and thought it would be a nice place to spend the winter. But in reality, I'd miss the snow. I hope you enjoy your new home.
