Musical Joint Relief at Rock City
Rockland — The Velvet Lounge music series of Rock City Café, 316 Main St., will host Joint Relief with G.G. Ellis and Cole Barbour Friday, Aug. 1, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Rockland native Ellis is a singer and drummer who played for many years in Austin, Texas, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area. Barbour, also a Rockland native, plays guitar and cello with Tastes Like Chicken, Sideways Highways and other musical combos. The duo will play a diverse blend of roots rock, country blues and originals.
