Mowrey — Johnson engagement
Michael and Judy Mowrey of Sunnyvale, Calif., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Selene Mowrey, to Peter Ingraham Johnson, son of Dwight and Lynn Johnson of Rockport.
Mowrey’s grandparents are the late Clarence and Jewell Means of Ardmore, Okla., and Robert and Vera Jewell of Oceanside, Calif. Johnson’s grandparents are Maynard and Joyce Ingraham of Rockland, Sylvia Johnson of Camden, and the late Rev. Quentin Johnson.
Mowrey is a 2001 graduate of Homestead High School in Cupertino, Calif. She received a bachelor’s degree in communications with minors in public relations and political science from the University of Maine in Orono in 2005. She earned a master’s of business administration in international hospitality and tourism management from Cesar Ritz Colleges in Brig, Switzerland in 2007. She is employed by the Lord Camden Inn and Grand Harbor Inn.
Johnson is a 2003 graduate of Camden Hills Regional High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in music from Messiah College in Grantham, Pa., in 2007. He earned a master’s degree in communication from the University of Maine in 2009. He is employed by Ingraham Associates, a real estate appraisal company started by his grandfather.
A March wedding is being planned.
