More than 150 animals need homes

Currently, we have well over 150 animals at the shelter waiting for that special person or family to come in and adopt them. Each animal is unique in its own way, with its own personality and temperament, be it a happy go lucky, playful pup or a sweet, content lap cat. We are confident there is a perfect match for them out there somewhere, they just have to wait until the right someone discovers them at the shelter or at one of our satellite adoption locations. Are you that right someone for Quincy or Beanie?

Thank you to Hannaford in Rockland and their generous customers who donated a whopping 237 Pet Holiday Bags full of vital donations of canned cat and dog food to feed the multitudes at the shelter along with enough paper towels and dish soap to keep the shelter sparkling clean for months. What a great way to start the year, with food in the cupboards.

Thank you also to Home Kitchen Cafe in Rockland and its generous customers for raising an amazing $875 for the shelter during their Giving Starts At Home Benefit. What a wonderfully supportive community we live in. We are proud to be your community animal shelter!
