A show, mostly talk with some music worked in, that covers current affairs, events, happenings, news, and other things that effect our culture. Not just from a national or global perspective but primarily the intent is to examine how our local culture is molded by what’s being talked about in the world around us. Local, regional, national, and global in scope.

The first hour Jo plays local musicians from the midcoast area, and the second hour she plays musicians playing in the area in the up coming weeks. “Rhythms & Rhymes with Grampy Keith,” that’s with host Keith Alley. A mix of poetry, old and new, along with music. The music may be anything from “popular” tunes from the 30’s through the 70’s, including country, rock, swing, and occasionally some classical pieces. Grampy Keith hopes to interest local folks who are writing verse to come to the station and read their own poetry for the listeners to enjoy!

Professor Bop and his sometimes able assistant explore the jurassic era of modern american music, (yes the contradiction in terms is intentional) called Bebop. We will feature such noteworthy constituents as Bird, Diz, Monk, Fats, Klook, and Bud. Some forays into more modern jazz are possible with a smattering of Beatniks thrown in. Back to Schedule
