Model trains at Thomaston library
Thomaston — For the second year, Thomaston Public Library is getting into the spirit of the holidays with a display of model trains and village in the main section of the library. The display, put together by Leroy Jones with the help of Neil Shively and Henry Groth, shows what it may have looked like in a typical small village built around the railroad industry.
The display includes a comparison of the different model train scales, ranging from G, a 1:24 scale, to N, a 1:160 scale. The model trains and village are on view for the month of December. The Thomaston Public Library is located at 60 Main St./Route 1. Parking is around the back. For more information, call 354-2453.
