Boothbay — Carol Miller of Camden, who runs Carol M. Miller Photography of Rockland, has work in the current show at the Resource Room of the Visitor Center of Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, offer Barters Island Road. A public reception is planned for Thursday, Aug. 14, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

“Pollinators in the Gardens” features work by members of the CMBG Photo Club members. The spectacular display of the flowers at the Gardens is really all for the pollinators (in the biological sense), and this exhibit offers a chance to revel in the intricate relationship between flower and pollinator.

Photographing pollinators and flowers has become a new specialty for Miller, who has several images in the show.

“I love finding a plant with bees or butterflies swarming around, sitting quietly with my camera on tripod, waiting for the pollinator to land in just the right place. And it does happen,” she said.

“Pollinators in the Gardens” runs through Sept. 30. For more information, visit mainegardens.org.
