Participants of Rockport Public Library’s Poets' Corner Workshop gave the first public reading of selections from their work at Jensen's Pharmacy in Rockland Jan. 17.

The Poets' Corner Workshop has been meeting twice a month since October, on the first and third Thursday of each month from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Rockport Public Library, 1 Limerock St. The ongoing workshop is open to the public at no charge; anyone interested in poetry and improving one's writing skills may attend.
