Midcoast lens: First beach day

Temperatures soared into the 90s May 18 and people in the Midcoast swarmed to their nearest and dearest place ... the beach. Low tide, right around noon, made for the perfect time for an outing. Above, Lauralie Longe, 8 months, of Walpole, and Hailey Baughman, 9 months, of Thomaston, enjoy getting a little messy at Crescent Beach.
