Mid-Coast Mom Prom goes Las Vegas
Belfast — The third annual Mid-Coast Mom Prom will be hosted this year by Broadreach Family & Community Services Saturday, May 10, from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. at the Belfast Boathouse, on the waterfront. All proceeds from the event will be used to support Broadreach’s Early Childhood Education Program.
A national event, each Mom Prom is designed for Moms and Those Who Mother to enjoy the camaraderie of others while raising funds for a local charitable cause. The tickets for this year’s Las Vegas-themed event, which can be purchased online at broadreachmaine.org, are priced at $30 and cover the cost of the prom and refreshments.
DJ Ryan Albert will once again be donating his services for the event with a lively mix of danceable numbers. Women are encouraged to bring their female family members and friends to this annual spring event. Prizes will be given for categories such as Most Glitzy, and the Mom Prom Queen will be crowned with a fitting tiara. A “Step and Repeat” backdrop will be set up for red carpet photos for each lady attending the event.
Hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be available, including a cash bar. Attendees must be 21 or older. All designated drivers will receive a special token of appreciation.
