Methodist Church seeks crafters for fair
Waldoboro — The Waldoboro United Methodist Church will sponsor its third annual Fall Craft Fair on Saturday, Oct. 27. The church is looking for local crafters that make unique gifts, sew, crochet, create pottery, or offer a specialty item such as soaps, candles, floral arrangements, jewelry or accessories.
The event will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Waldoboro United Methodist Church located at 93 Friendship St. in Waldoboro. The church will offer four-foot tables for $20 or eight-foot tables for $30, with chairs. Set-up is available at 7:30 a.m. and assistance is provided to unload vehicles and carry items into the vestry. Free parking is provided and a complimentary lunch is offered to vendors. Crafters are asked to donate a small item for door prizes.
All proceeds from table rentals and concessions will provide youth scholarships for Camp Mechuwana, the United Methodist Camp of Maine, located on Lower Narrows Pond in Winthrop.
The club is asking crafters to sign up by calling Heidi at 380-6315 as some craft categories fill up quickly. Registration forms can also be obtained at the church. For more information call the church at 832-5556.
