Mehuman Trio to record live at Highlands
Thomaston — The Mehuman Trio is recording a live album, “As the Sun Goes Sideways — When Hope Collides with Hopelessness," in several sessions at The Highlands Coffee House, Main Street/Route 1. The public is invited to be part of the “studio audience” for both sound and video recording.
The Mehuman Trio features Casey Hufnagel, Max McFarland and Mehuman Jonson. They will be performing/recording Saturdays, March 8 and 22; and April 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. Participation is free, but seating is limited; those interested in taking part are asked to RSVP by the Thursdays before by calling The Highlands at 354-4162. The final session will be taped for a live concert video. Sound recordings are being done by Scott Harris of Graybrook Studio; Matt Hunt of Creative Blue Media will shoot the video.
Audience members will get to cast votes for the top 10 songs they want on the record and will be listed in the Thank You credits. Those who pre-order "When the sun goes sideways" will get a signed copy of the CD art work and be entered in the drawing for a free copy of the video. The first 50 friends to preorder two CDs or more also will receive a signed copy of the accompanying book of song lyrics and an exclusive bonus track.
