Medomak students raise $773 for Make-A-Wish

Waldoboro — As part of the 2014 Winter Carnival, the Medomak Valley High School National Honor Society sponsored a fundraiser for the State National Honor Society Service Project.

Students and staff were challenged by classes to raise the most money Make-A-Wish Foundation with the highest class total garnering points for the carnival totals.

Students gave generously and the original goal of $250 was quickly reached. Although the sophomore class eventually won the contest, even more importantly, the final total in a check to the Make-A-Wish Foundation was $773.97.
