Rockland — MidCoast School of Technology has announced its November students of month. They are, clockwise from top left, Shane Winchenbach, Abigail Bartlett, Nate Courtenay and Elizabeth Freye.

Each student was recommended by a teacher. Following are some of the comments from honorees' teachers.

"Shane works hard [in Auto Tech] and makes sure he stays on top of assignments and requests help when needed. He always looks at the bright side of an assignment, knowing that English is not a favorite. Shane's work outside of class is generally completed before returning to class. His work ethic is good (rarely needs prompting to be on task), and he is an asset to any class."

"Abigail is an attentive, conscientious, hardworking student who consistently demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm toward what she is learning [in the CNA program]. She demonstrates independence and initiative; Abigail is respectful and considerate of others."

"Nate is an amazing person! He is helpful to other students [in Marine Tech], grasps new concepts rapidly and is always willing to share. Along with this, Nate just became an Eagle Scout. He will go far."

"Elizabeth is the hardest-working student in the [Baking & Pastry] class. She is always the first to arrive and the very last to leave the kitchen. Elizabeth is an excellent student, and her attendance reflects this: she has missed zero days this year."
