Mazzeo on book tour

“The Hotel On The Place Vendôme: Life, Death, And Betrayal At The Hôtel Ritz In Paris” was published last fall by HarperCollins, which also released Mazzeo’s “The Widow Clicquot: The Story of a Champagne Empire and the Woman Who Ruled It” and “The Secret of Chanel No. 5: The Intimate Story of the World's Most Famous Perfume.” She also writes extensively on wine for the media and is the author of “The Back Lane Wineries of Napa,” “The Back Lane Wineries of Sonoma” (Ten Speed Press, and the forthcoming guide to the Back Lane Wineries of the Pacific Northwest.
Mazzeo currently is working on “Irena's Children,” about Holocaust heroine Irena Sendler, who has been called the "female Schindler." That book is slated for release by Gallery/Simon & Schuster in 2016.
Mazzeo received her doctorate from the University of Washington, Seattle. She teaches English at Colby and narrative nonfiction at writer's workshops in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia. She divides her time between the west coast of Canada, New York City and Portland, Maine. For more information about the author, visit tilar-mazzeo.com.
