Paden, 4, of Rockland received his wish for a therapy room in December.

Camden — On Wednesday, March 19, Cappy’s Chowder House and Harbor View will be hosting a Community Connections Dinner to raise money for Make-A-Wish.

A raffle and at least 25 percent of the proceeds will be donated from 5 to 9 p.m.

Make-A-Wish Maine began in Camden in 1992 by founders Wayne and Caroline Morong. Since the chapter’s inception, support from individuals and organizations like Cappy’s has been strong and critical to the mission.

“We are so grateful to Cappy’s for carrying on this great event for local non-profit organizations. The funds raised will help Make-A-Wish Maine to grant the wish of a deserving local child” said Tom Peaco, Executive Director, “ I look forward to seeing many familiar faces of our Midcoast supporters, as well as meeting new people interested in helping our Maine wish kids.”

A check presentation will take place on a later date. Reservations are recommended for parties of eight or more.
