Maine's endangered species discussed
Camden — Wildlife biologist Charlie Todd will speak about Maine’s endangered species at Merryspring Nature Center Tuesday, Sept. 17, at noon.
While Maine is known for abundance of flora and fauna, a number of species face serious threats due to habitat loss and competition from invasive species. Todd’s presentation will introduce the audience to many of Maine’s endangered birds, mammals, invertebrates, and fish, while highlighting research and mapping efforts by the Maine Endangered Species Program.
This talk is part of the Summer Talk series at Merryspring, co-sponsored by Camden National Bank and Jaret & Cohn Real Estate. Merryspring is located at 30 Conway Road just off Route 1 by the Hannaford supermarket in Camden. For more information call 236-2239 or email email@example.com
